Overview
The Global Operations Manager reports directly to the Global Commercial Director and is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of all Fueguia galleries worldwide. The role supports sales performance and delivering an exceptional client experience by guaranteeing operational excellence across all points of sale. As the owner of operational standards, the Global Operations Manager continuously seeks to improve in-store processes, drive efficiency, and implement innovative initiatives and action plans, while ensuring consistency across markets and adapting to local specificities when required.
Responsibilities

Operational Excellence & SOPs

Define, structure and deploy Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all galleries through a comprehensive Operations Manual.
Ensure procedures are harmonized across countries, while integrating local constraints.
Drive best practices, operational discipline and continuous improvement in-store.
Support and guide Store Managers in the correct implementation of procedures and operational standards.

Stock Management & Logistics

In collaboration with Demand Planning, Production and Sales teams: supervise all physical and system-based stock flows, including order follow-up, goods reception in stores, transfers between galleries, shipments and dispatches, and accurate recording in stock management systems.
Define storage rules and guidelines and reinforce processes to prevent shrinkage and stock loss.
Organize and oversee cycle counts and stock inventories, according to a defined calendar shared with retail teams.
Analyze discrepancies and implement corrective and preventive action plans.

In-store Systems & Tools

Act as the key operational referent for all in-store management tools and systems; in collaboration with the IT Manager: ensure the proper functioning of all IT and retail tools in stores, take corrective actions in case of incidents or system failures, and act as an operational relay for the deployment of special projects or new systems (e.g. ERP, POS, new tools).

Store Openings & Operational Set-Up

Take ownership of the operational aspects of new store openings, from preparation to opening and post-opening support.
In coordination with Store Planning and other internal stakeholders: follow up on works and ensure operational requirements are anticipated and respected; prepare and organize stock allocation, reception and merchandising setup prior to opening; ensure all operational tools, systems and procedures are in place and functional rdinate initial maintenance, suppliers and service providers for new stores; support Store Managers during the ramp-up phase to ensure a smooth and efficient launch.

Supplies, Vendors & Cost Control

Supervise in-store supply needs (packaging, consumables, equipment, etc.); optimize supplier contracts and operational costs: launch tenders and calls for proposals when necessary; regularly review and challenge existing suppliers.
In collaboration with Country / Store Managers: monitor store-level expenses, act as the main point of contact with suppliers, and supervise cash operations and treasury processes.

Store Maintenance & Facilities

Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all galleries, ensuring compliance with brand standards, safety and operational reliability, and optimal conditions for both teams and clients; coordinate maintenance plans and external service providers.

Profile & Experience

3 to 5 years of experience in retail operations, ideally in luxury, beauty, fragrance or premium environments.
Strong understanding of store operations, logistics, stock management and retail systems.
Experience working in an international or multi-store environment.
Highly organized, detail-oriented and solution-driven.
Hands-on mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, supply chain, IT and external partners.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with multicultural teams.
Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
