Mode Search is supporting a high-end, fashion-forward luxury brand with the appointment of a Store Director for its Milan boutique. The brand is recognised for its refined ready-to-wear collections, sophisticated silhouettes, and elevated yet welcoming client experience. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business where craftsmanship, style, and emotional client connection sit at the heart of the retail strategy.
The position is based in Milan and sits within a boutique retail environment. The Store Director will report into regional leadership and work closely with head office partners across retail, merchandising, and client development, while maintaining full ownership of the store's commercial performance and team leadership.

The Role
Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing retail team, fostering a culture of excellence, positivity, and accountability
Act as a strong brand ambassador on the shop floor, translating the brand's aesthetic, values, and service philosophy into the daily client experience
Drive CRM, clienteling, and prospecting initiatives to build long-term, loyal client relationships and grow the local client base
Ensure commercial targets are achieved through a client-centric and sustainable approach to sales
Motivate and coach the team through consistent feedback, training, and hands-on leadership
Oversee all store operations, including stock management, visual standards, and adherence to operational guidelines
Ensure the boutique consistently delivers an elevated and seamless customer journey aligned with brand expectations
Requirements
Proven experience in a Store Manager or Store Director role within luxury fashion, premium, or high-performing boutique environments
A natural people leader with strong coaching, mentoring, and team development skills
Highly client-centric, with demonstrated success in CRM, clienteling, and prospecting
Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance sales performance and brand integrity
A strong sense of style and flair for styling, with confidence on the shop floor
Positive, charismatic, and engaging personality, able to build authentic relationships with both clients and team members
Strong organisational and operational skills, with attention to detail and standards
