We are looking for a PLANNING & ALLOCATION SPECIALISTbased inMILAN.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Allocations:
Daily and weekly allocation of SKUs and bi-monthly SOUND checks with Regional teams.
Collaborate proactively with Regional teams ahead of sales peaks to guarantee adequate stock coverage.
Monitor last-mile allocation from regional warehouses to stores and share weekly reports with Regions.
Execute markdown distributions and stock rebalancing strategies to support sell-through and reduce unproductive inventory.
Stock control and management:
Monitor inventory levels and identify stock suitable for rebalancing when needed.
Anticipate stock landings by SKU and identify for still-valid items opportunities for stock consolidation.
Monitor AFS stock periodically to minimize inventory residuals.
Identify slow-moving styles and propose corrective actions to reduce unproductive stock, including synergies with wholesale channel and targeted stock allocations for withdrawals.
Periodic performance analysis and forecasting:
Perform monthly or bi-monthly analysis of coverage, sales, lost sales, deliveries, and other key metrics.
Ensure that TSLs (target stock level) are consistently aligned with sales expectations.
Develop bottom-up markdown forecasts aligned with Retail Planning targets, in collaboration with HQ Merchandising.
Assortment Matrix:
Work closely with Regional teams, Demand Planning, and Merchandising to fine-tune the assortment matrix for efficiency.
Provide inputs on still-valid assortment matrix based on stock evolution.
Replenishment tools:
Address replenishment-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
Support the development of existing tools in line with evolving business needs.
Requirements
1-3 years of experience in Inventory Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, or Planning roles, preferably within structured fashion or retail companies.
Master Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Statistics
Fluent in Italian and English
Strong analytical skills and ability to manage complex datasets.
Detail oriented and extreme accuracy.
Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
Experience in using of Windows, Excel, and BI tools to monitor performances and KPI. Oracle RPAS and SAP Retail is a plus.
