For our Boutique in Montenapoleone we are looking for an experienced Tailor available to work.
The Tailor must ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by adapting the product by making tailoring alterations, but without changing or modifying the original garment styl
e.The tailor must keep up-to-date on sartorial products, trends, fabrics and cuts, and be able to talk to and make conversation with customers.
KEY RESPOSABILITIES:
-To Advise the customer on the most appropriate alterations to the proposed garments, managing their needs.
-To Manage customer contact by their measurements.
-To Work on the garment at the boutique or decide, based on the amount of work and the specific nature of the work to be done, to use external suppliers, managing the time needed to work on and complete the garment in accordance with company standards.
-To Manage the relationship with external tailors and monitors their work.
-To Manage the entire made-to-order project in conjunction with the buying office.
-To Manage repair times and priorities and monitors costs.
-To Support the training of colleagues in relation to fabrics and sartorial cuts.
-To Train salespeople on repairs and on basic pinning.
KEY REQUIREMENT:
-Qualified tailor/dressmaker/pattern-maker or relevant industry experience in atelier or boutique clothing.
-Experience in the fashion industry and knowledge of luxury industry-specific dynamics.
-At least 5 years' experience as a tailor/dressmaker.
-Measurement taking.
-Technical knowledge and skills in tailor-made and made-to-measure garments (use of all sewing machines, complete construction of a garment and hand-sewing).
-Good manual skills and precision.
-Management of delivery deadlines.
-Knowledge of the field of reference.
-Fluent in English.
-Salary Range: 38.000- 45.000€
