Principal Engineer – Client Platform (React Native) - Milan
We’re currently partnering with a global fintech company looking for a Principal Engineer to join their Client Platform team with a strong focus on React Native and mobile platform architecture.
You’ll work on core platform capabilities used across multiple teams, helping improve developer experience, performance, stability, and long-term maintainability.
Own and evolve core parts of the React Native client platform
• Lead large-scale technical initiatives across mobile platform and frontend infrastructure
• Improve tooling, CI/CD, app architecture, scalability, and developer experience
• Work closely with JavaScript/Type Script, frontend build tooling, and native iOS/Android integrations
• Mentor engineers and help drive technical best practices across teams
Strong React Native experience
• JavaScript & Type Script
• React Native internals
• Frontend build tooling (Babel / Metro / Webpack)
• Collaboration with iOS & Android teams
• AWS fundamentals
• js / Express exposure
