Your role  We are looking for a  Travel Security Manager  who will be responsible for ensuring thesafety and well-being of all company personnel during business travel and missions, both domestically and internationally. This role involves the operational management of the entire travel security process, from risk analysis to emergency response, in compliance with the company's Duty of Care obligations.
Main responsibilities    Risk Assessment and Management:  Analyze and evaluate risks (geopolitical, health, criminal, etc.) associated with business travel destinations, defining the risk level for each trip.
Policy Development and Implementation:  Develop, update, and implement the company's Travel Security policy and related operating procedures, in line with industry standards (e.g., UNI/PdR 124:2022 if relevant for the local context).
Planning and Travel Support:  Provide support and consultation to employees before, during, and after travel, ensuring they are equipped with appropriate information and security measures.
Emergency and Crisis Management:  Serve as the primary point of contact (or manage the related structure) for handling incidents, emergencies, or crises involving personnel in transit (e.g., natural disasters, political instability, medical issues).
Training and Awareness:  Develop and deliver security training programs and briefings for travelers, promoting a culture of prevention and a defensive mindset.
Monitoring and Intelligence:  Constantly gather, analyze, and monitor information related to global security and risk areas, utilizing specialized Travel Security Analyst services if necessary.
Vendor Management:  Manage relationships with external providers of security services, medical assistance, and logistics for business travel.
Regulatory Compliance:  Ensure the company's compliance with current health and safety regulations in the workplace, including international contexts.
Work closely with  Corporate Risk & EHS  functions to define the controls through the process in the stores.
Collaborate with  Procurement & HR  to implement the best standards.
Collaborate with internal and external  Legal dept, Police  and in general with  law enforcement.

Previous

Experience:

experience in similar roles, law enforcement, armed forces, or specialized security consulting firms.

Certifications:

Possession of recognized professional certifications, such as the Travel Security Manager certification according to the UNI/PdR 124:2022 standard, is a plus.
Specific Knowledge:  Knowledge of geopolitical dynamics, crisis management protocols, and travel risk management best practices.
