Full-Time Math Instructor opportunity with responsibilities across multiple math topics and teaching modalities.
Responsibilities- Teach in areas including but not limited to:
Statistics, Algebra, Algebra for Nursing, precalculus and calculus. - Engage students in a rural community college setting with a focus on student success.
- Develop curriculum and teach in multiple venues including classroom, hyflex, and online formats.
- Maintain a full-time, nine-month teaching appointment with annual renewal based on performance.
- Initial placement on the salary schedule is dependent upon academic credentials and relevant work experience.
- Overload and summer teaching opportunities may be available; competitive benefits package provided.
- Master’s degree in Math or a related field.
- Effective public and interpersonal communication skills; commitment to the community college mission.
- Successful prior teaching experience is desired.
- Preferred experience includes teaching at community college/university or K-12, and experience in hyflex and online courses.
