EHS Coordinator - 2nd Shift

Job Description:

As an Environmental, Health and Safety Coordinator (EHS),you will support an incident-free culture while protecting employees, our environment while employing proactive tools to ensure compliance. You will implement and maintain company policies adhering to local, state, and federal environmental, health and safety regulations at our Sheldon Repair Shop.

Job Requirements:

Assist in preparation, editing, and publication of safety education bulletins, guides, courses of study pamphlets, audio/visual and other materials.

Maintain SDS requirements. Other duties and projects as assigned by the SHE Manager or Plant Manager.
** EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
** Minimum of 3 years’ experience of progressively increasing responsibility in production management.  Railcar Repair industry experience strongly preferred.

Ability to inspect, identify, and verify that plant safety and processes are implemented, performed, and completed in compliance to industry, company, and customer requirements.

Proficiency in MS Office applications with the ability to learn proprietary database systems.

Industry knowledge of AAR and FRA rules, and Tank Car Maintenance Regulations;
Knowledge of current regulatory requirements (e.g., AAR MSRP, M-1002, Section C, Part III, HM201);
Knowledge of FRA regulations, preferred.
