Qualifications- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in the state and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.
- Certified to perform Mammography or willing to obtain within 12 months of hire.
- Current BLS certification required.
- One year of previous experience preferred.
- 2 Positions available: 1 is day shift (4-9 hour shifts) Rotating on call and weekends. 1 position is evenings/nights (4-10 hour shifts) from 7pm-5am with weekends.
- The range is between $63,400 ($30.49/hr) - $95,000 ($45/hr) plus full benefits and will offer a relocation/sign-on package.
- Use specialized computerized x‑ray equipment to produce cross‑sectional images of the human anatomy to aid radiologists in diagnosing a wide variety of diseases and disorders.
- Assist physicians and radiologists in performing examinations by administering or providing contrast media and assisting with procedures as needed.
- Identify self, greet and address patients, check physician order and work order, verify identity of patients, explain the examination to the patient, position patients for exam and perform procedure according to established protocols.
- Use proper radiation protection and precautions, prepare and operate CT equipment appropriately.
- Inform Modality Lead, Imaging Medical Director or direct report of any unusual concerns, situations or conditions relative to staff, patients and physicians.
- Assist with stocking and cleaning rooms daily. Maintain adequate inventory of all required supplies by appropriately utilizing supply management/software/hardware and/or informing appropriate personnel for acquisition.
- Perform a variety of clerical and image management tasks, as required such as working up patients, completing appropriate paperwork following each examination and properly identifying exams for PACS storage and review.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance studies.
- Assist the supervising radiologist with administrative functions.
- Enforce radiation safety principles.
