Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a Montana or compact RN license and at least one year of recent OR experience.

• Work in the General Surgery Operating Room at a hospital setting
• Day shifts, five 8-hour days per week
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency
• May be placed on-call during regularly scheduled shifts
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Responsible for independent and delegated nursing functions, including patient assessment and care planning
• Provide perioperative nursing care and assist with surgical procedures as appropriate
• May be required to document according to hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Must report for background check and drug screening within 24 hours of assignment commitment
• Firm document submission and compliance deadlines are enforced by the facility

• Active MT or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Operating Room nursing
• Associate degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS certifications may be required if appropriate for the unit
• Epic EMR experience is preferred
• No pending RN licenses accepted at the time of consideration
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before eligibility for a travel assignment
