The Role - Mechanical Technician
Salary:
Salary starting from £55,396 with significant progression on completion of milestones.
We are looking for a Mechanical Technician to join our highly skilled and efficient Maintenance Team.
In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, carrying out routine preventative maintenance tasks, diagnosing and repairing faults on mechanical systems and equipment to comply with the Terminals reliability targets. You will also conduct task analysis and risk assessments for the performance of safety-critical tasks that support both preventative and reactive maintenance.
Qualifications & ExperienceYou will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems, excellent problem-solving and communication skills and the ability to work with precision under minimal supervision. Proficiency with tools and adherence to our safety standards and culture are essential.
- Completed a recognised apprenticeship in a mechanical discipline and/or have extensive maintenance experience (including rotating equipment), preferably in oil & gas/petrochemicals Industries.
- Knowledge of Health, safety and environmental requirements associated with a top tier COMAH facility.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of planned maintenance, installation and repair activities.
- Demonstrable Leadership qualities.
