Overview
Your main responsibility will be to promptly and conscientiously deliver prescription items to private houses, nursing and residential homes. While providing a high standard of customer service, you will portray a friendly professional image and act as an ambassador for the Cohens brand. To fulfil this role, you must be able to work under pressure to deliver the prescriptions in the given designated period of time.
Attention to detail is paramount as you will be responsible to ensure that prescription items are delivered in line with the company's regulated procedures. This role requires you to have very basic computer skills, so that you can plan and print your daily routes in branch before you set off to begin your deliveries. You may also be required to assist with PR exercises to increase business.
You are required to use your own vehicle for this role; therefore, if appointed your personal insurance policy must allow for business use. It is advised that you contact your insurer to obtain information regarding this prior to attending an interview. Please note that "business insurance" refers to the vehicle only, and not the contents. The Company will make a financial contribution to the business aspect of your insurance upon receipt of a document demonstrating any increased premium.
- Deliver prescription items promptly to private houses, nursing and residential homes.

- Ensure deliveries are made in line with company procedures and accuracy requirements.
- Plan and print daily routes using very basic computer skills.

- Work as part of a well-established team to provide a high standard of service to customers.
- Excellent people skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- DBS check required as part of the recruitment process.
- Flexibility to work within branch opening hours:
Monday to Friday 08:30 to 18:00. - Zero Hour Prescription Delivery Driver designation; permanent contract at the Manchester Square branch (713 branch, Manchester Square, Fulke Street, SA73 2JW
).
