About the Role:

Join The Lion of Judah Early Learning Centers as a Preschool Assistant Teacher and make a difference in young children's lives! We are seeking passionate individuals who are excited to foster a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our little ones in Windsor Mill, MD.

Responsibilities:

Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.

Supervise and engage children during playtime and structured activities.

Support children's social and emotional development through positive interactions.

Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment.

Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about children's progress.

Help prepare materials and resources for classroom activities.

Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Encourage creativity and curiosity in children through hands-on learning experiences.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; CDA or relevant coursework preferred.

Experience working with young children in an educational setting.

Strong communication skills and a positive demeanor.

Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators.

Knowledge of early childhood development principles.

CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Passion for nurturing and inspiring young minds.

Background check clearance required.
