About the Role:
Join The Lion of Judah Early Learning Centers as a Preschool Teacher, where you will inspire and nurture young minds in a warm and engaging environment. We are dedicated to providing high-quality early education in Windsor Mill, MD, fostering a love for learning in every child.
Responsibilities:
Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive and social development.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Engage children in hands-on activities that encourage exploration and creativity.
Assess and document children's progress and communicate with parents regularly.
Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum and classroom experiences.
Maintain a clean and organized classroom conducive to learning.
Support children's emotional and social growth through positive reinforcement.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
99 hr Certifications or an Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education.
Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting.
Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices.
Excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Creative and energetic demeanor with a love for nurturing young learners.
Background check clearance as required by state regulations.
