$75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

• Support the Controller and Accounting team with daily activities.
• Responsible for performing various accounting functions to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Prepare and post journal entries; maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Assist with monthly close and financial reporting
• Reconcile and review balance sheet accounts
• Support accounts payable/receivable and invoice processing
• Review and process expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies
• Monitor and analyze expenditures to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors
• Help with payroll processing and reconcile payroll sub-ledgers as needed
• Analyze financial results; recommend cost-saving or process improvements
• Document accounting policies and procedures; ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legislative requirements
• Availability for after-hours work as needed for month end processing
• Other Duties as assigned

• BS in Accounting required and 2-4 year’s experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.

• Detailed, Organized, Process Oriented.
• Able to work with and support co-workers in each department as the circumstances dictate
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in the Architectural Lighting Industry preferred
• Understanding of the relationships amongst the Company’s regional sales managers, independent sales reps and customers preferred
• Microsoft Office

• Ability to lift to 20 lbs.
• Ability to work long hours at a Computer
