We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Purchasing Associate to join a manufacturing company in Milford, CT. This role will manage the accounts payable function while assisting with purchasing activities, including purchase order processing and tracking.

• Process vendor invoices and assist with day-to-day accounts payable activities.
• Review invoices for accuracy, proper documentation, and appropriate approvals.
• Assist with purchase order creation, processing, and tracking.
• Match vendor invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation.
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, discrepancies, and payment inquiries.
• Assist the purchasing team with order placement, follow-up, and delivery tracking.
• Maintain accurate records of invoices, purchase orders, and vendor information.
• Support general administrative and accounting tasks as needed.

• Minimum of 1 year of accounts payable experience recently.
• Experience working with purchase orders.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
