This is a great opportunity for a Dental Assistant who enjoys working directly with patients and is interested in growing their skills in oral and maxillofacial surgery. You'll work alongside our surgical team while utilizing and developing your skills in surgical assisting, patient care, radiography, sterilization, and pre- and post-operative care.

We're looking for someone with a strong foundation, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to providing an excellent patient experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Assist with Surgical Procedures:
    Work chairside with the surgeon, prepare patients for procedures, take vital signs, and provide hands‑on clinical support.
  • Care for Patients:
    Help patients feel comfortable and informed before, during, and after their procedures and provide clear pre- and post-operative instructions.
  • Prepare for Surgery:
    Set up treatment rooms, instruments, equipment, and supplies to help procedures run safely and efficiently.
  • Take Dental X-Rays:
    Capture quality radiographic images using proper positioning, exposure techniques, and radiation safety practices.
  • Sterilization & Infection Control:
    Clean, sterilize, and prepare instruments and treatment areas while following OSHA and infection‑control standards.
  • Maintain Patient Records:
    Assist with consent forms, medical histories, treatment documentation, and accurate patient charting.
  • Support the Clinical Team:
    Work closely with surgeons and fellow team members to keep the practice organized, efficient, and patient‑focused.
  • Create a Great Patient

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
  • Infection Control Certification required
  • Radiation Health & Safety Certification required
  • Basic CPR/BLS Certification preferred

Oral and Maxillofacial Assisting or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credentials are preferred but not required.
