Position Summary Information General Description of Position Under the general direction and supervision of the Dean and Associate Dean, the Instructor, General Motors Automotive Service Educational Program (GM ASEP ), is responsible for providing instruction and developing and updating the program courses in a classroom/laboratory environment. This full-time regular position is also responsible for the maintenance of the lab equipment and ASEP vehicles, advising students, and working with the program, IAGMASEP , dealer sponsors, and College committees.

• Provide effective Student Instruction in Program Courses as assigned in both classroom and lab environments
• Work with dealerships and students during the co-op work experiences
• Determine the appropriate material to be covered in the course(s) assigned to teach (subject to Associate Dean and Division Dean approval).
• Develop new courses and update existing courses as required to keep the General Motors Automotive Service Educational Program (GM ASEP ) current with industry standards and processes and General Motors requirements.
