Accounting Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our corporate headquarters in Milford, NH
. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a high‑visibility, hands‑on role supporting a multi‑division organization with a strong track record of growth and stability.

As Accounting Manager, you’ll oversee daily accounting operations, lead a small team, and serve as a key liaison between division accounting teams and corporate leadership. You’ll have the autonomy to streamline processes, strengthen internal controls, and provide the financial insight that drives better business decisions.

• Oversee all aspects of general ledger accounting, month‑end and year‑end close, and financial reporting.
• Manage and mentor accounting staff at the corporate level, fostering collaboration across divisions.
• Consolidate financial statements and ensure timely, accurate reporting to senior leadership.
• Partner with the Controller and CFO to support budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and corporate policies while improving efficiency and consistency across business units.
• Lead or support special projects related to systems upgrades, process automation, and integrations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA a plus).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Solid understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and consolidations in a multi‑entity environment.
• Strong Excel and ERP system skills; experience with multi‑division operations preferred.
• A proactive problem‑solver with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both finance and operations leaders.
