• Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed customers’ expectations
• Increase production capacity and flexibility while controlling costs and maintaining quality
• Oversee production output, product quality, and on-time shipping
• Allocate resources effectively and utilize assets to produce optimal results
• Implement strategies aligned with senior management’s manufacturing initiatives
• Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions as needed
• Collect and analyze data to identify waste or overtime opportunities
• Develop systems and processes to track and optimize productivity, standards, metrics, and ROA
• Stay up to date with production management best practices
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality guidelines
• Hire, train, and supervise manufacturing team members
• Manage budgets and costs associated with manufacturing processes
• Resolve issues and disputes among manufacturing team members
• Implement improvements to manufacturing processes and procedures
• Prepare and present reports on manufacturing operations and progress to senior management

• Proven work experience as a manufacturing manager or similar role
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and industry standards
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Good knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Understanding of quality standards and systems
• Experience with budget and business plan development
• BS degree in Business Management, Engineering or relevant field
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
• Managing in a union environment is a plus
