Picture your day: you arrive, review blueprints, and ready a 2- or 3-axis CNC horizontal lathe. You dial in offsets, load tools, confirm G-code paths, and run a meticulous first-piece—verifying every critical dimension with the right gages before green-lighting production. You’ll collaborate with a tight-knit team, communicate directly with leadership, and keep quality at the center of everything you do.
What you’ll doSet up and run 2- and 3-axis CNC horizontal lathes with Fanuc controls.
Utilize solid knowledge of G-code programming to validate and adjust processes.
Read and interpret blueprints; apply working knowledge of GD&T to meet specifications.
Perform precision measurement and inspection, verifying both first-piece and production dimensions using appropriate instruments and gages.
Support efficient production workflows while upholding stringent quality standards.
Collaborate in a team-based environment; communicate status and issues clearly.
Leverage bar feeding systems when applicable (experience a plus).Report to the shop President and contribute to continuous excellence in manufacturing.
What you bring
Minimum 3 years of CNC lathe setup/operation experience.
Familiarity with Fanuc controls and solid G-code knowledge.
Strong blueprint reading; working knowledge of GD&T is desirable.
Competence with measuring instruments and gages for precise inspection.
Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and precision.
Comfort working collaboratively in a team-based environment.
