Overview

Waltham Pest Services is looking for a Commercial Technician in the Milford, CT area. The position offers a salary range of $42,000 - $47,000, a comprehensive benefits package, company vehicle, gas card, smartphone, and more. We are in the business of public health and safety and aim to connect with customers while delivering professional pest control services.

Responsibilities

• After completing our industry-leading training, use that knowledge to help residential and commercial customers with their pest control issues.
• Inspect attics, crawlspaces, and the interiors and exteriors of homes or businesses in our area.
• Provide treatments and solutions backed by Board-Certified Entomologists and seasoned management.
• Identify areas in need of our services and present those services to customers you are servicing.
• Sell services to support your compensation and pursue a path toward promotions and career growth.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• High School/GED or equivalent
• Current valid driver’s license
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Physical Demands / Working Environment:

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations including climbing ladders, bending, crawling, lifting, and carrying the necessary items throughout the day. You also need to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid):

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions

Salary Range: $42,000 - $47,000 per year
