Overview
The Ladies Golf Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and administering all women's golf programming and player development initiatives at the club. This position serves as the primary liaison between the golf staff and women members, with a focus on growing participation, enhancing the playing experience, and fostering an inclusive, welcoming golf culture for players of all skill levels.
Experience Required- Strong knowledge of the game of golf, including rules, formats, and etiquette
- Experience in golf instruction, player development, or event coordination preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to connect with golfers of varying skill levels in a supportive, encouraging manner
- Organized, dependable, and service-oriented mindset
- PGA or LPGA affiliation preferred but not required
- Plan, coordinate, and execute all ladies golf events, leagues, clinics, and competitions
- Work collaboratively with the Women's Golf Association (WGA) or Ladies Golf Committee to support the club's traditions while introducing thoughtful enhancements
- Develop an annual ladies golf calendar that balances competitive play, social events, and instructional opportunities
- Oversee event logistics including formats, pairings, tee times, scoring, prizes, and post-event communication
- Design and implement structured player development programs for women of all abilities, including beginners, returning golfers, and experienced players
- Lead or assist with instructional clinics focused on fundamentals, short game, course management, and rules education
- Create pathways that encourage progression from instruction to on-course play and participation in club events
- Support the growth of new female golfers and help retain existing members through consistent engagement
- Serve as a visible and approachable presence for women members on the practice facilities and golf course
- Build strong relationships with members by understanding their goals, interests, and comfort levels with the game
- Foster an inclusive environment that encourages camaraderie, confidence, and enjoyment of the game
- Act as an advocate for ladies golf within the overall golf operation
- Promote ladies programming through clear, consistent, and timely communication using the club's established platforms
- Provide advance notice of events, registration deadlines, and instructional opportunities
- Share post-event recaps and highlight successes to build enthusiasm and momentum
- Work closely with the Head Golf Professional and golf operations team to align ladies programming with overall club objectives
- Assist with budgeting, participation tracking, and program evaluation
- Ensure programs are conducted in accordance with club policies and standards of service
