Warehouse Lead

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for the daily execution and continuous improvement of warehouse operations, with a primary focus on inventory accuracy, receiving, and managing the processing of inbound RMAs. This role will lead a small team while optimizing workflows, ensuring safety compliance, and leveraging ERP systems to drive efficiency and visibility across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse Operations Leadership: Lead and oversee daily warehouse functions, including receiving, material handling, and inbound RMA processing.
  • ERP Optimization: Maintain and improve ERP system accuracy and utilization for warehouse transactions, material movements, and inventory tracking.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct and reconcile cycle counts and physical inventories; investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Warehouse Setup & Layout: Support the design and continual improvement of warehouse layout, storage optimization, and material flow.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant work environment; lead safety training and enforce adherence to company and OSHA standards.
  • Team Development: Train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates to ensure high performance and cross‑functional capability.
  • Receiving & Inbound RMAs: Oversee receipt, inspection, documentation, and system entry of inbound RMAs; manage disposition and communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and service levels.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 5–10 years in warehouse, inventory, or materials management roles; at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Strong ERP experience (Net Suite, SAP, or similar); proficiency in Excel and warehouse management systems.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of warehouse best practices, safety programs, lean principles, and inventory control methods.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, operate standard warehouse equipment, and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving abilities; proven leadership and team‑building skills.
Compensation

Base pay range: $70,000.00/yr – $85,000.00/yr ($70,000 – $85,000 USD
)

Compensation is based on factors including level of experience, skillset, qualifications, and location.
