Physical Therapist

This is a Permanant position, with a salary range of $48.00 - $51.00, working 30 hours M-F with weekends as needed. Weekend rotation required.

The site, established in 2007, is a long-term care facility located on 24 acres in Milford, Delaware, offering skilled nursing care on four units with a total of 144 beds. Our mission is to provide outstanding long-term care services to Delaware veterans that uphold dignity and respect while improving their quality of life.

• Patient Assessment: Conduct evaluations of patients' physical conditions, including movement, strength, balance, and flexibility. Develop personalized treatment plans.
• Treatment Implementation: Provide hands-on treatment to improve mobility, alleviate pain, and regain functionality, including exercises, manual therapy, and specialized equipment.

  Educate patients and families about the therapeutic process, exercises, and injury prevention.
• Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Collaboration: Work with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate patient records, assist with scheduling, billing, and reporting.
• Professional Development: Stay updated on latest research and techniques; participate in training and education.

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience preferred but not required for new graduates.
• Skills include clinical assessment, communication, individualized care planning, knowledge of therapy techniques, and teamwork.

• Ability to lift and carry up to an unspecified weight.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend for extended periods.
• Assist patients with mobility and positioning.
