Key Account Manager - Automotive Tier Suppliers; m​/f​/d

As Key Account Manager within our Electrical Systems Business Unit, you will drive the profitable growth and strategic development of key accounts across the sales region EMEA. You will build strong customer relationships, coordinate account activities, and drive the specification and implementation of tesa solutions across the wire harnessing value chain. Working closely with cross-functional and international teams, you will identify new business opportunities and translate customer needs into sustainable growth.

Your tasks include:

• Managing and strategically developing assigned key accounts across EMEA, ensuring alignment of customer projects and activities on cross-regional scale.
• Achieving turnover and margin targets while driving sustainable and profitable account growth.
• Driving specification-in activities with assigned OEMs and relevant stakeholders across the global value chain.
• Ensuring effective coverage of customer technical centers and production plants, coordinating engagement across relevant accounts within the assigned territory.
• Building and maintaining a robust project pipeline, driving project implementation, and managing approval processes in collaboration with Application Engineering.
• Contributing to the development of the EMEA regional strategy and the global sales strategy for assigned accounts.

• A technical degree combined with solid commercial experience, or a business-related degree with strong technical affinity and experience in technical sales.
• 5–10 years of experience in specialty sales to industrial customers or comparable industry experience.
• Experience in the wire harness manufacturing industry, with automotive OEMs or automotive Tier suppliers being an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
• Initial experience in leading teams or coordinating stakeholders within a matrix organization is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, results-oriented approach.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage, with French preferred.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required by the role.
