Retail Sales Manager

Retail Sales Manager at Cube Smart.

Base pay range: $20.00/hr - $22.00/hr

• In your role at Cube Smart Self Storage, you will be required to manage and maintain your property, including customer service and property maintenance.
• Customer Service: develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a WOW! or 5 Star service; interact face to face with customers, provide excellent service, and build rapport.
• Sales and operations: meet monthly sales goals and metrics; walk the property to perform lock checks and show units to customers; rent self-storage spaces; sell store merchandise; manage the leasing process; accept payments using the POS system; complete daily bank deposits; make courtesy calls regarding late payments; manage invoice review and approval within the database; process invoices; manage reports and the legal process of auctions;
  
  oversee the store’s expense budget and maintain store supplies and retail inventory.

• Perform daily walks of the property; clean units and the property; open and close storage doors (up to 50 lbs).
• Maintain facility by mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning storage units, and performing similar light activities.
• Keep the facility clean and safe to ensure it meets company guidelines (restrooms, landscaping, parking, paving, fencing, walls, doors).

• A positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience in delivering high quality customer service to a diverse customer base.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance with access to reliable transportation used during the workday.
• While performing the duties of this job, you will be frequently required to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb or balance on a ladder.
• Some locations may require Sunday hours.

Compensation: $20.59 - $22.31 per hour depending on experience plus bonus opportunities.
