Job Overview
Northeast Sales Territory Manager covering Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and New York. Responsible for identifying plant health care clients in the green industry, partnering with commercial tree care and landscape maintenance companies, municipalities, and other organizations. This remote, full‑time position requires up to 50% travel within the territory.
PayBase salary $85,000‑$120,000 plus commission opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Generate leads and deliver meaningful sales demonstrations for prospects and current clients to best serve them in growing their plant health care business with Rainbow products, protocols, and application equipment.
- Attend and speak at local conferences, meetings, and industry events to create awareness and develop relationships with key influencers in the tree‑care and landscape maintenance industry.
- Work within our sales process to ensure that clients are communicated with frequently and effectively to optimize opportunities.
- Create a positive client experience by providing top‑tier customer service and a consultative selling approach.
- Identify new and existing customer opportunities to grow accounts and identify new business opportunities.
- Document and regularly use and update customer information, sales workflows and sales activities in CRM (Acumatica).
- Develop and regularly update a working prospect list for the territory.
- Meet or exceed the aligned sales goals within the territory.
- Industry sales experience in the tree care and/or landscape maintenance industry is preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Horticulture, Urban Forestry, Biology, Environmental Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Business‑to‑business sales experience as a distributor sales representative or manufacturer sales representative.
- Position comes with base salary plus commission opportunities.

Ability to work outside and walk through commercial and residential landscapes while exposed to heat and cold. May be required to bend, reach, stoop, and lift objects; may be exposed to conditions including chemicals, the use of tools, and equipment. Safety precautions must always be followed, including the use of PPE (personal protective equipment) and other safety equipment. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at any given time.
