Position:
Security Flex Officer

Location:

Milford, MA (Manufacturing).

Hours:

Part‑time, 11 p.m. – 7 a.m. on Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday.

Wage: $20.00 per hour starting pay, with paid orientation and shift‑pickup flexibility.

The Security Flex Officer will safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare, Education, Finance, and other sectors. You will conduct security patrols, respond to incidents, and gain cross‑industry experience.

Responsibilities
  • Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
  • Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
  • Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
  • Warn violators of rule infractions (loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles).
  • Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
  • Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure authorized removal of property complies with client requirements.
  • Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post.
  • Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders.
Qualifications (must have)
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
  • Licensing requirements subject to state or local laws; may be required prior to employment.
  • Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer‑owned vehicle.
  • Subject to background investigation and drug screening in compliance with applicable laws.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Minimum age 18 (higher if required by state; 21 if armed).
  • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
  • Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
  • Demonstrated courteous interaction and public communication skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication; ability to write informatively and accurately.
  • Active listening and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations quickly and accurately; identify critical issues.
  • Mediate conflict with tact and diplomacy.
  • Teamwork and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications (nice to have)
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic).
  • Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience.
