The Aquatics Director mentors, coaches, and leads a dynamic team focused on the aquatics program across all schools. Achieves results through program analysis, strategic planning, execution and ensuring standards are met. Increases confidence and knowledge to create future leaders, swimmers, and works toward the mission to decrease drowning. Typical week 32‑40 hours.

• Hire, train, supervise, support and develop a dynamic team of Swim Instructors and Managers.
• Ensure all water safety standards and certifications are up to date and maintained.
• Conduct ongoing training and performance reviews.
• Develop and adhere to annual budget and strategies for business success.
• Ensure classes and training adhere to current company and program standards.

• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• 3‑5 years of supervisory experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Responsible and professional demeanor.

• Experience in swimming and fitness teaching/management preferred; an aquatics qualification is desirable.
• Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred but not required; training considered.
• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification.
• 1+ year working with children.
