The Milford Department of Public Works is seeking two (2) energetic, dependable and conscientious individuals to fill openings at:

• Milford Transfer Station
• Highways & Streets

Duties will include, but are not limited to: maintaining a safe workplace, operation of construction equipment, snow and ice removal, landscaping/construction, vehicle and ground building maintenance, paving, storm water/drainage and other duties as assigned. Candidates must be able to understand and follow oral and written directives.

For Transfer Station candidate, it would be beneficial to have a Weigh Master license.

A successful applicant must be at least 18 years of age, have an NH Class B CDL (REQUIRED) – Class A CDL is preferred, have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum of 2 years of progressive experience within the area of winter/summer municipal road maintenance; or possess any combination of education and experience which demonstrates the required knowledge, skill and ability.

Pay is competitive and DOE.

Medical
-2 plans.

• AB15/40 HMO ($1k/$3k Ded) 85/15 split on premium
• LUMENOS (HDHP) w/HSA-100% of the premium paid by the employer, up to 50% of the deductible paid by the employer

Dental
-Single coverage paid by the employer

Vision
-Voluntary, employee paid

Leave Benefits (all leave pro-rated year one):

Pay range is $23.00-$27.00 /hour DOE
