This position is for an in-home care nurse, with a 1:1 nurse to patient ratio, serving individuals who are intellectually or developmentally disabled.
Schedule: Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 7:30AM-8:30PM
Compensation (Hourly): $32.00-$34.00/hr

Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage healthcare plans for assigned patients according to physician’s instructions
- Provide personalized care including bathing, grooming, and assistance with daily activities
- Monitor vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
- Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate records
- Check for signs of infection, bedsores, and wounds, providing appropriate care
- Educate and advise caregivers on patient care techniques
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and improve healthcare plans
- Provide palliative care as needed to ensure patient comfort and well-being
Knowledge and Experience:
- Understanding of nursing principles and practices
- Compassion and empathy for patients and families
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and prioritization skills
- Strong time management and organization skills
- Peg Tube/G-Tube experience (Required)
- Trach/Vent experience (Case-Dependent)
Requirements:
- CPR/BLS certification (Required)
- Valid In-State Nursing License (LPN or RN) or Multi-State License (MSL) in Nursing (Required)
