3rd Shift - Shipping Lead

SPA, a TRG company and subsidiary of Schwarz Partners, is currently seeking a Shipping Lead to support our Milford, OH facility. As a Shipping Lead, you will be responsible for the daily processing of product shipping orders including both domestic and international shipments. Also, responsible for training new shipping processors on correct order shipping procedures.

3rd shift hours are from 8pm-6:30am Monday through Thursday.

• Scan, pick and process product orders for shipment. Obtain carton number for shipping label and place on belt for shipping.
• Perform manifesting for domestic and international shipments – scan carton to print shipping label; scan both carton and tracking numbers to QA check for accuracy of shipping order.
• Order domestic postage and prepare calculations for international postage orders.
• Close out jobs at end of shift, call in trucks, or drive lifts and stock pickers as needed in supervisor’s absence.
• Train new shipping processors and serve as their go to person for procedure questions.
• File hardcopy orders, bills of lading, etc. for the processing area.
• Maintain par stock of shipping company forms and initiate re‑orders as necessary.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.

• Basic shipping applications.
• Basic computer skills with Microsoft applications;
  Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to operate a gas‑powered forklift, stock picker, and reach truck preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and frequent lifting of lighter items throughout the workday.
• 1-3 years’ experience in a shipping setting with experience using scanners and shipping postage software.
