Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, completion of a Medical Assistant Program or relevant experience, and certification such as CMA, RMA, NCMA, or equivalent. Current BLS CPR card required. Ability to complete departmental competency assessment during orientation.
Preferred Experience: Six months of medical assistant experience, knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding, experience with electronic medical records.
