, you’ll use award‑winning training, our trusted brand, and the Orkin Guarantee to build relationships and close high‑value sales.

ResponsibilitiesYou’ll be responsible for understanding Orkin’s termite protection services and making strategic recommendations to customers by performing 360‑inspections from attics to crawlspaces.
- Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
- Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
- Serve as an empathetic problem solver by recommending the best innovative pest solution for each customer’s needs.
- Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads – our robust advertising budget provides you with leads.
- Schedule sales appointments and meet customers in their homes to explain how Orkin’s products and services give them peace of mind.
- Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home – we provide training.
- Make recommendations based on inspection findings, addressing any questions, explaining the process and setting expectations.
- Use the iPad we provide to prepare sales agreements and stay organized – we provide training on this too.
- Competitive earnings and a company vehicle with gas card upon route assignment.
- Average first‑year earnings from $60,000 to $100,000 (base plus commission).

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- No experience required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company‑paid).
- Ability to work in the field independently and interact with our great clients.
- Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) that sometimes requires an OSHA‑compliant respirator.
- Willing to work in different types of weather conditions.
