The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a key role in providing high-quality patient care by assisting with clinical and administrative responsibilities within the scope of an LPN license. This role is responsible for patient intake, preparing exam rooms, assisting with clinical procedures, and ensuring smooth patient flow throughout the visit. The LPN also supports patient check-in and check-out processes, assists with scheduling follow-ups, and provides exceptional service to patients and their families.
This role is located at our clinic in Mill Creek, WA. Operate and maintain autoclave machines and other clinical equipment, ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
Maintain lab supplies, equipment, and ensure compliance with CLIA requirements, including record-keeping and quality assurance. Perform other duties as assigned within the LPN scope of practice. Current Washington State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license through the Department of Health (DOH). One year of experience as an LPN in a physician’s office or similar clinical setting. Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing patient needs.
Independent decision-making skills and ability to resolve issues in collaboration with the healthcare team. Ability to perform phlebotomy, point of care testing, wound care, suture removal, medication administration and patient triage. Knowledge of preventative care strategies, chronic disease management and quality metrics such as HEDIS, PCMH, or other applicable population health initiatives.
Understands the roles and responsibilities within a multidisciplinary care team and how to coordinate effectively to optimize patient outcomes.
Knowledge of patient engagement techniques, customer service best practices, and methods to enhance the overall patient experience. Experience in a primary care, urgent care, or outpatient clinical setting. (Preferred)
Proficiency in using EPIC or other electronic health record (EHR) systems. (Preferred)

Ability to stand for long periods and move freely within the clinic setting. Ability to exert up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Ability to use a keyboard and to communicate clearly and understandably in person, and over the telephone.
