• Help plan curriculum, assist in leading activities, and engage with elementary school‑aged children at Old Mill Elementary School or the Mill Valley Community Center.
• Check children in and out to the proper guardians, supervise play activities, and ensure their safety.
• Encourage good behavior, appropriate manners, active play, and reading.
• Lead appropriate activities for 1st‑5th grade children and motivate participants through example.
• Maintain attendance records and practice proper hygiene to deter the spread of disease.
• Render first aid in case of minor injuries and communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
• Perform related duties as required and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong leadership skills in art, crafts, sports, drama, or cooking.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team player.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with co‑workers, parents, and children.
• English speaking and written proficiency.
• Certification: CPR/AED and First Aid certificates required; willing to obtain additional certifications within 2 weeks of hire.
• Availability for flexible hours outside a typical workday, including weekday evenings and weekends.
• Attention to detail, promptness, patience, and a patient, responsive customer‑service orientation.

Conditional job offers require a pre‑placement fingerprint review. Candidates must possess current CPR/AED and First Aid certificates and be comfortable calling 911 in an emergency.
