MECS Field Technician
Roles and Responsibilities1. Installation and Setup
- Install and configure equipment and systems at customer sites.
- Ensure proper setup and functionality of hardware and software as required.
- Perform regular maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues in the field, often on-site.
- Provide technical assistance and support to customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns.
- Assist with system upgrades and modifications as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed, including installation and repair logs.
- Complete reports and documentation for management and regulatory compliance.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through effective communication.
- Train customers on equipment usage and best practices.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing fieldwork.
- Identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate risks.
- Manage inventory of parts and equipment used in the field, ensuring necessary supplies are available.
- Coordinate with management for restocking and ordering parts as needed.
- Analyze issues and develop effective solutions quickly in high-pressure situations.
- Use diagnostic tools and techniques to identify problems accurately.
- Report on job status, challenges faced, and customer feedback to management.
- Suggest improvements based on field experience to enhance service delivery.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to improve skills and knowledge.
- Technical Skills
:
Proficiency in relevant technologies and tools specific to the field (e.g., electrical, mechanical, software). - Communication Skills
