Job Summary
The GMP Cleaner is responsible for support activities and disinfection of GMP space, equipment, and associated areas within production facilities in manufacturing, R&D, warehousing, and final product fill areas according to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
Salary$23.00 per hour (range may vary based on experience, skills, location, and market data).
Job DescriptionSupport activities and disinfection of GMP spaces and equipment, follow cleaning schedules, and ensure compliance with cGMPs.
Essential Job Functions- Follow proper cleaning/disinfecting schedules according to ABL site specific SOPs.
- Assist supervision with internal pre-audits, CGMP housekeeping, and general organization of manufacturing spaces.
- Contribute to overall operations and achievement of departmental goals.
- Perform tasks in compliance with regulations, international standards, and ABL policies and SOPs.
- Maintain thorough understanding of Good Laboratory Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Other duties as assigned; may assist in other departments.
- Must wear appropriate clean room attire (e.g., surgical masks) and all PPE.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements for cGMP manufacturing, especially cleaning practices and sterility assurance.
- Ability to perform accurate arithmetic calculations including fractions, decimals, percentages, basic algebra, and geometry.
- Ability to stand, sit, walk for long periods.
- Ability to lift, push, pull 40 lbs. routinely, often, or occasionally.
- Ability to crouch, bend, twist, and reach.
- Clarity of vision and color discrimination.
- Ability to perform repetitive activities.
- May require medical testing as per occupational health program.
- Must wear appropriate PPE and work in a clean room environment.
- Must work in various noise levels, with exposure to latex, bleach, chemicals, solvents, pathogens, freezer burns, allergens, and strong odors.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills.
