Mosquito Technician Operations Lead

This is a field + leadership hybrid for someone who’s been a solid mosquito or pest tech and is ready for more responsibility.

You’ll run routes, deliver quality service, and help keep daily operations running smoothly. You’ll also play a key role in helping customers understand what’s driving their pest issues — and connecting neighbors who might benefit from our services.

• Deliver mosquito and tick control and perimeter pest treatments across Essex County
• Assess properties for breeding sites, standing water, and environmental factors
• Educate homeowners on prevention and long-term solutions
• Build relationships with customers who trust your expertise

• Help coordinate schedules and optimize routes
• Train and support other technicians
• Monitor equipment, inventory, and vehicle readiness
• Identify issues early and communicate proactively

• Look for opportunities to help neighbors and nearby properties
• Identify homes that could benefit from our services
• Provide referrals and introductions that help grow the business

• Valid NJ driver's license with clean driving record
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and handle backpack sprayer (up to 60 lbs)
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• High school diploma or equivalent

• 2+ years experience in pest control or related field
• Pest control certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Team leadership experience

• Reliable, self-motivated, takes ownership of your work
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety
