• Work with a diverse population of students and families within a multicultural community.
• Increase family engagement and partnership within the school community.
• Provide individual and group counseling to designated students.
• Facilitate social skills groups and other groups focused on adolescent issues.
• Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and positive behavior intervention systems (PBIS).
• Multi-task and work within a fast-paced environment focused on student learning, data collection, and measurable outcomes.
• Participate on the Student Success Team.
• Consult with classroom teachers, administration, and outside agencies to support students' social and emotional needs.
• Provide crisis intervention services.
• Write and implement goals and objectives consistent with students' Individualized Education Plans (IEP) and provide timely and regular progress reports on student development.
• Creates, implements, and monitors behavior plans of students.
• Actively participates in IEP Team Meetings.
• Oversee Section 504 Team Meetings and establishment of 504s.
• Coordinate with the Building Administration regarding CRA petitions and 51
  
  As.
• Perform other general duties assigned by the Building Administration and Director of Special Education.
• To participate in related school meetings, which are held for the purpose of improving both curricula and extracurricular activities.

• Licensed as either a School Social Worker, School Adjustment Counselor, School Counselor, or School Psychologist by the Massachusetts Department of Education required.
• Master's Degree in counseling or related field preferred.

Long-Term Substitute Teacher Rate, Benefits included ($105.00-$115.00)
