Multiple full‑time Tow Truck Operator (flatbed or wrecker) and Battery Service Driver positions are available primarily out of our Millbury, MA location.
Mid‑day & second shift positions are available.
Experience- Prior experience is not required. CDL is not required.
The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $24.75 per hour
. Base pay may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, shift differentials and experience. Annual bonuses are offered to employees, and certain roles are eligible to earn additional forms of compensation through monthly and/or quarterly incentives.
Employee benefits include medical, dental, vision, wellness, financial (6% 401(k) match), and a wide array of other membership benefits.
Additional differential pay: $2.75 per hour for overnight shift (10pm‑6am), $1.75 per hour for evening shift (6pm‑10pm), $1 per hour for weekend hours. Differentials can be combined.
ResponsibilitiesAs a AAA Roadside Technician, you will provide safe, best‑in‑class roadside solutions for AAA members. Roadside Assistance Drivers respond to member requests for assistance, ensuring member safety, vehicle security, and education about possible vehicle issues. You will provide minor mechanical assistance to get the member’s vehicle back on the road; if unsuccessful, you will tow the disabled vehicle to the requested destination.
QualificationsEducation
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience
For Tow: at least 21 years of age required. For Battery: at least 19 years of age required and must have had a license for 2 or more years.
Licenses and Certifications
Active, valid driver’s license from one state or jurisdiction required. DOT card pre‑hire and current employee within 1 year required. Must pass a motor vehicle record check during pre‑hire screening and periodically during employment in accordance with policy.
