The Services Librarian & Cataloger provides library services including cataloging, reference, circulation, and computer assistance. The purpose of this position is to provide library services for patrons.
Major Duties- Cataloging books purchased for the college and prep school. This includes books for the Annex Reading Room. Provides statistical data on circulation.
- Manages interlibrary loan services for GMC students, faculty, and staff at all campuses. Provides statistical data.
- Presentations on orientation and information literacy to JC classes in coordination with the Reference & Instruction Librarian. Provides research assistance with GMC Online students in coordination with the Online Instruction Librarian.
- Assists with front desk circulation duties; special projects such as preparing book orders; collection inventories; collection development.
- Manages the ordering and receiving of office materials. Manages weekly cash drawer deposits.
- Creates seasonal and other theme‑based displays highlighting library books and other resources.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Criminal background check and drug screen must be cleared before any candidate may begin working.

EducationRequired:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
Preferred:
Master's degree in Library Science with a concentration in cataloging and/or reference.
Required:
1 year of relevant experience.
Preferred: two+ years' Academic library experience.
