The Services Librarian & Cataloger provides library services including cataloging, reference, circulation, and computer assistance. The purpose of this position is to provide library services for patrons.

• Cataloging books purchased for the college and prep school. This includes books for the Annex Reading Room. Provides statistical data on circulation.
• Manages interlibrary loan services for GMC students, faculty, and staff at all campuses. Provides statistical data.
• Presentations on orientation and information literacy to JC classes in coordination with the Reference & Instruction Librarian. Provides research assistance with GMC Online students in coordination with the Online Instruction Librarian.
• Assists with front desk circulation duties; special projects such as preparing book orders; collection inventories; collection development.
• Manages the ordering and receiving of office materials. Manages weekly cash drawer deposits.
• Creates seasonal and other theme‑based displays highlighting library books and other resources.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Criminal background check and drug screen must be cleared before any candidate may begin working.

Required:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
Preferred:
Master's degree in Library Science with a concentration in cataloging and/or reference.

Required:

1 year of relevant experience.
Preferred: two+ years' Academic library experience.
