Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship & Strategic Management
College of Business & Technology at Georgia College & State University invites applications for a full‑time, tenure‑track faculty member to teach entrepreneurship and strategic management beginning August 2026.
Responsibilities- Teach face‑to‑face undergraduate courses in entrepreneurship and/or strategic management.
- Full‑time instructional load teaching in areas of expertise within the academic discipline.
- Regular course meetings and instruction.
- Other teaching responsibilities, including core curriculum and foundation courses for majors and non‑majors.
- Contribute to topical freshman (GC1Y) or sophomore seminar (GC2Y) courses.
- Ph.D. or DBA (terminal degree) in management from a regionally accredited institution, with emphasis in entrepreneurship and/or strategic management at the time of appointment.
- Must meet SACSCOC accreditation requirements stated in C.S. 3.7.1 (faculty credentials).
- One to three years of experience teaching entrepreneurship and/or strategic management face‑to‑face at the university level.
- Experience managing startup or entrepreneurial organizations.
- Instructor of record for college‑level classes in the related discipline.
- Record of scholarly activity, publications, or creative works.
- Evidence of methodological innovation and creative teaching strategies.
