** Key Responsibilities
*** Responsible for the treatment of residents with noted disorders or deficits within Occupational Therapy scope of practice
* Optimize the functionality and skills of patients
* Completes all necessary documentation
* Collaborate with supervising OTR developing programs appropriate to the needs of facility residents while fulfilling COTA/OTR co-signature and supervision requirements
* Attend all required meetings including care planning, staff meetings, family meetings, etc. (full-time employees)
* Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right Guidelines
* Follow facility infection control policies and procedures
* Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor
** Qualifications
* ** Current or eligible COTA license in the state of practice
* Graduate of an accredited COTA program
