Life Enrichment Aide - FT
STGi is seeking a Life Enrichment Aide to provide services at our Georgia War Veterans Home. If you have compassion and a passion to care for Veterans, this could be the job for you!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Provides activities to residents.
- Ensures that all activity programming meets the interests and needs of assigned residents and has a therapeutic outcome to improve residents’ quality of life and overall functioning.
- Determines/assesses the individual interests and needs of residents.
- Estimates time needed for activities and assists in schedules accordingly.
- Interacts with residents on a daily basis to affirm their self-esteem and to alleviate feelings of loneliness and depression.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Prefer a minimum of one (1) year’s experience in an activities or recreation program.
EDUCATION:
Must possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
