This role plays a critical part in supporting daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and banking activities across multiple entities for a growth-orientated commercial real‑estate investment firm.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare month‑end close and financial reporting packages for multiple entities
  • Post general ledger entries and review bank account reconciliations
  • Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting
  • Manage real estate tax payments and appeals
  • Process monthly mortgage payments
  • Coordinate with development and acquisitions teams on draws, wires, and closing‑related accounting
  • Calculate annual tenant operating expense reconciliations and estimates
  • Review and approve invoices and manage batch processing through Avid Exchange
  • Review audit and tax packages as needed
  • Support acquisition activities and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3–5 years of accounting experience within commercial real estate
  • Experience with MRI and Yardi systems
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time‑management abilities
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment with competing priorities
