Summit Business Technologies’ Managed Services team is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with strong consulting skills to support our customers in the greater Baltimore / Washington DC area. Our team provides comprehensive IT support and managed services across various industries, ensuring robust and efficient operating environments.

Key Responsibilities :
- Assist with the design and implementation of IT solutions.
- Provide ongoing operational support and advice for customers’ information systems, including onsite requirements.
- Resolve Support Desk tickets efficiently and effectively.
- Communicate technical information clearly to clients and internal management.
- Configure LAN and WAN topologies, server staging, and deployment.
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for complex technical issues.
- Ensure timely and competent responses to technology support requests.
- Deliver high-quality support for Microsoft 365, desktop, server, and network-level issues.
- Minimum of a two-year degree, preferably with an emphasis on information systems or technology management, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
- At least five years of experience in technical customer support.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Minimum of eight years of experience performing systems and network support.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows Server environments.
- Experience with virtualization technologies and disaster recovery planning.
- Ability to manage technology budgeting and forecasting.
- Knowledge of compliance and risk mitigation strategies.
