Homer Skelton auto group is committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience through quality service and knowledgeable staff. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Parts Manager to lead our parts department and ensure smooth operations.

The Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the parts department, including inventory management, sales, vendor relations, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, automotive parts knowledge, and a customer‑focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations of the parts department, including inventory control and ordering.
  • Lead, train, and mentor parts department staff to ensure high performance.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to optimize parts availability and pricing.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of parts orders, sales, and returns.
  • Monitor department performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with service and sales departments to ensure parts availability for vehicle repairs and sales.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in automotive parts management or related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of automotive parts, systems, and inventory management software.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
  • Must pass a background and drug screening.
