The A&P Aircraft Mechanic III will ensure that all work accomplished is in accordance with current FAA approved technical data and adheres to quality maintenance standards in accordance with the company’s Repair Station Manual / Quality Control Manual (RSM/QCM) and other applicable manuals such as the Airworthiness Directives, AMM Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, SRM Structural Repair Manual and WDM Wiring Diagram Manual.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Safety sensitive position subject to pre‑employment and random DOT drug and alcohol testing.
- Review work assigned, obtain tools and necessary parts, and complete the job in a timely manner following applicable manuals without sacrificing quality or safety.
- Ensure that all routine, non‑routine, and customer‑request work cards are correctly completed and properly signed off.
- Verify calibrated tooling used is current and properly noted on paperwork.
- Ensure employees are always kept safe by following the company’s written policies regarding environmental health and safety; the safety and protection of personnel, environment and property is our number one goal.
- Perform all work assigned in accordance with approved or accepted FAA data.
- Maintain the premises in a clean and organized manner.
- Return work to service.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or other management personnel.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Valid Airframe and Powerplant Certificate Required.
- 7‑9 years of experience.
- Large commercial aircraft experience preferred.
- Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check, verification of credentials and a urinary pre‑employment drug test as per DOT regulations.
- Depending on location, additional background checks for TSA, FBI, etc. may be required to obtain an airport‑issued badge such as SIDA, AOA, or any other badge required by the airport authority. If required by the location, passing this and obtaining the badge is a condition of employment.

- Must be able to multi‑task.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces or elevated areas.
- Commitment to continuous learning (keeping up with new technologies & regulations).
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work products.
- Must be flexible to work any shift.
- Have mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools safely.
- Hangar and ramp atmosphere. Must be able to work in uncontrolled climate conditions.
- Must be able to lift fifty (50) lbs. Subject to continual loud noises. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for prolonged periods of time, climb steps, ladders and/or service stands.
- Normal or corrected vision and hearing is required.
